The Bathroom
The Intention
The place to Cleanse, the place where we can be the most vulnerable. To be naked free of judgement except for how we might see ourselves. Shredding more of the world stresses and wash away the deeper thoughts and feeling that might show itself as dirt and grime, staining our skin. Either soaking it off in a hot bath, anointed with scented oil. or working up a lather and watching that grime spiral the drain.

The Take Away
Through grounding - participants can learn to leave these stress behind. Temporarily freeing themselves of that which is burdening their mind. I do mean temporary because showering and bathing is a means of caring for the body as is this practice to care for the mind.

The Mirror
The Intention
Mirrors often reflect how we see ourselves. They do much more than that- they reflect how others see us. True or untrue we don't often have the choice, or the power to change their minds. But there is choice, do I choose to accept this visage? This exercise allows participants to challenge how they see themselves. Many might not like what they see or how they present, but once we indentify these things, the work can begin to shift how we see ourselves.

The Take Away
How we view ourselves is important. Outside influences might paint you in a different visage. However, we can choose to accept this or leave it behind. How these influences perceive us, may not be true. They can be rejected and smashed.
